- it's a question of paper compatibility and following the specs to the
- last character. This is an option afterall.

- As an example, the V.32bis has options for various lengths of canceller
- sequence training (in terms of symbols being sent) and that directly
- translates to the quality of the connection. Different modems seem to
- ask for variable lengths, some stick with the minimum in order to keep
- the training the shortest but at a possible expense of performance. I
- have not heard anyone complain.
